As an Organizational Member of the USTA, you'll enjoy a host of beneifts and privileges that will put your program into a whole new league! In addition, organizational members play an important role in reaching new tennis enthusiasts and maintaining the fine traditions of the sport. Five Categories of Organizational Membership:
Schools – Any elementary or secondary school, college, university or other educational institution.
Park and Recreation Departments – Any municipal, county or other public entity that fosters tennis activities.
Program Delivery / Service Organizations and Other Entities – Any organization which does not fit into our other categories, but which actively conducts, supervises or controls tennis activities or is interested in the promotion of tennis.
Community Tennis Associations – Any multi-purpose, incorporated, geographically defined, not-for-profit, volunteer tennis organization which supports or provides comprehensive tennis programs.
Clubs – Any private or commercial club, resort, hotel, condominium or apartment complex or homeowner’s association that controls and maintains tennis facilities.

The Mid-Atlantic Yearnbooks is now published in this magazine yearly.
US Open Poster
Every year, you will receive a US Open commemorative poster. There is a new, collectible poster each year.
USTA Sanctioned Tournaments
As an Organizational Member, you will have the opportunity to conduct USTA sanctioned events and have the ability to use the USTA name and logo to promote these events. For more information on USTA Sanctioned tournaments in Virginia contact Rob Issem at rob@virginiatennis.com.
Tournament Management System™ (TMS)
Tournament Management System™ software is available free of charge to all organizational members. TMS is a powerful computer program that can automate the entry process, create random draws, schedule start times and player check-in, report result and publish to the Web. Grants
Members of USTA Mid-Atlantic Section are eligible for program start-up and expansion, equipment, excellence in programming and future stars grants.
USTA Workshops and Seminars
Receive information and access to Section and National events including the USTA Tennis Teachers Conference and the USTA Community Tennis Development Workshop.
Awards
Member organizations are eligible to receive USTA/Virginia Tennis annual, organizational and program awards. This is a great way to attract positive publicity for your organization!

The USTA Bookstore
By calling 1-888-832-8291, members can receive a free catalog of tennis publications from the USTA’s mail order bookstore. More than 100 books and videos are available at a 10% discount to members.
USTA Tennis Yearbook
You will receive an annual copy of the USTA National Tennis Yearbook. This is a comprehensive guide to the national governing body of tennis.
TENNIS and USTA Magazine
Your Organization will also receive annual subscriptions to both publications. Read feature stories about the top pros, events, equipment reviews and the latest information in the world of tennis.
High Performance Coaching
A quarterly newsletter designed to provide you with the latest coachins and sports science information. It will also keep you current on any new coaching and certification programs.
Travel Discounts
As a USTA Organization Member, you will have access to a wide selection of specially-priced tennis packages. Destinations include (but not limited to) the four Grand Slams, Davis Cup and Fed Cup events.
