USTA Virginia District Tournaments

Virginia is home to over 300 tennis tournaments annually and offers a wide variety of tournament play opportunities:

• QuickStart Tournaments for kids ages 8 and under.

With these fun, easy tennis formats kids can now begin enjoying tennis PLAY at as early as 5 years old. Events are non-elimination and all participants are winners!

•   NTRP Tournaments where adults enjoy play with opponents at their level.

•   Half-Day Tournaments

These fun, exciting, non-elimination micro-tournaments easily fit into the busiest of schedules!

NTRP Express Adult Tournaments and Junior SuperSet Tournaments played start-to-finish in roughly 4 hours!

• One-Day Tournaments

Adult and Junior Smash Tournaments are played start-to-finish in a single day!

Adult and juniors can also earn USTA Virginia and USTA Mid-Atlantic standings and rankings through their participation in half-day and one-day tournaments!

• State Championships – for all Junior and Adult age divisions and all NTRP Adult divisions.

•   USTA Junior and Adult National Championships – Virginia is home to the various junior and adult national championship tournaments.

• Virginia Open Series (VOS) – a 5 tournament prize money tournament series that begins with the Virginia State Clay Court Championships at the Glenmore Country Club in June and concludes at the Virginia State Indoor Championships at the Country Club of Virginia in December.
